Waiting

Waiting to get on a flight and failing is all too common for me. Today I'm attempting to get to New York. The beauty of stand by.

I do have the company of a great book, South of the Boarder, West of the Sun. Which has the best opening paragraph of any book I've ever read.

"My birthday's the fourth of January, 1951. The first week of the first month of the year of the second half of the twentieth century. Something to commemorate, I guess, which is why my parents named me Hajime- "beginning," in Japanese. Other than that, a 100 percent average birth."

Thanks Ray, for letting borrow this little jem.
