A: I invited chad. He asked what we were doing for lunch.
R: Is he okay sitting between Jesus and Madonna?
A: I told him he would be sitting on Susanne Summer’s lap.
S: This is going to be the best birthday ever!

Now that I'm a bigshot business woman, I'll shine a little light on work.

Most of my lunch hour is spend playing Uno with some coworkers. It's quite entertaining screaming Uno in a crowded cafeteria/restaurant surrounded by people trying to have a business conversation... Just keeping myself young.

Unfortunately this week was a little crazy, no Uno.

Coworker quote of the day:
"Fact: I had 1 1/2 leftover donuts for lunch, when sitting at my desk today. I eat 80% less healthy without UNO lunches."

Mitten Lost & Found

My roommate lost her mitten. It was found on the street. Flat and frozen. I have never laughed so hard.

Nanny

One of my many new jobs. I introduced them to photobooth. They didn't quite understand at first. Now I can't get them away. Plus some awesome drawings from Jesus, my student that I mentor on Thursdays.

This came from a dinosaur

August is the end of summer. Our house has dogsit five puppers this month. I've been taking portraits of them. My mom wants me to design her identity for this dogsitting craziness that she does just for fun. I also have some sketches for a story that I could possibly be doing some serious illustrations. We'll see soon.

The neighbors kids have kept me pretty entertained this summer. The youngest, Caleb 5, is convinced everything was once a part of a dinosaur. Everything from a rock to a lawnmower. So, Yes your computer was once a Longneck...I believe.

I retired my purse/bag a while ago but had trouble finding one that I liked (picky). I ended up finding the perfect bag in a store that I absolutely despise..I have no idea why I went in there. So I had to remove the large label on the front and replaced it with this sweet patch my mom wore in the early 70's and did a little embroidering just for fun.

Egg Nog Tradition

It is that time of year. When the air turns crisp and little bits of snow float around in the wind. It's the beginning of the holiday season and the Egg Nog trickles onto the grocery store shelves. That's when my dear friend Trevor and I venture out into the cold to get our annual carton of deliciousness. We take a sip of the thick goodness and it all comes back....

it's all coming back, coming back to me now. There were moments of gold and there were flashes of light.

This shows how much of a nerd I am. This box contains over 150 notes that I received throughout grade school. I'm going to be using them for my collection publication.. not really sure how yet.... hmmmm ideas?
