Dreary Spring

Seeing patterns from freelancer friends Jessie, Katie and Emma. Feeling a little jealous of their time for special projects, so I've started one of my own. I intend to add some color, but it doesn't seem fitting with the foot of snow dumped on MN yesterday. Someday spring will come and color will again appear in our lives.

Babies of Knowledge Etsy Shop Coming SOON!

I'm super excited to announce that I will be launching my Etsy shop THIS FRIDAY. It's been a long time coming and a lot of late nights on the weekends. But I'm glad to be getting back to my crafting roots. I'm starting small with only 9 items, but I'll be slowly adding more throughout the year. Hope you're as excited as I am.

Pools

Had an amazing photoshoot in Miami last week. Minus the part where someone stole my prescription glasses when I was in the hotel pool. It's definitely hard to art direct with blurry vision. But has given me an excuse to try Warby Parker.

The new instagram site is intriguing. I'm starting too see some patterns in what I post. Apparently I can't  ever have too much sky.

Hamilton

I have been volunteering at the lovely Hamilton and made some donation buckets with Raychel Steinbach. The museum has to move this year... so help out if you can. xx

Today I played with orange. Which is rare..it's usually not in my color palette. This is some sections to a t-shirt design I submitted for a contest. Fingers crossed. It's funny how it looks a lot like something I doodled in 2009. Ha I only just noticed it now.

How to pack for Foust Cabin

It's that time of year when all the Fousts gather at the cabin.
This is my general guide for what to pack for the weekend, documented perhaps to help others.

toothbrush, tooth paste

clean undies

pillow, sleeping bag

towel

swimsuit, sunscreen

+ plenty of food

You won't need anything else except for the clothes on your back.

*Note: By the 3rd day I suggest banning cameras and mirrors.

Happy 4th

To celebrate the 4th of July I will be working. Thus proving that I am independent and struggling to support myself. Well, not so much struggling, but dreaming about buying these amazing envelopes from Pergamena.
